The Cinderella Castle of Germany (for kids)
This is not Walt Disney world, this is a real castle built by a real King, and it is a place you can actually go and visit in Germany.
King Ludwig was the person that built this castle, and it is called Neuschwanstein castle. It was supposed to take 3 years to build but King Ludwig wanted it to be perfect. 10 years later only 14 out of 200 rooms were finished! King Ludwig did not even get a chance to live in it. He passed away before it was finished.
It’s a good thing that King Ludwig built his castle, because it helped inspire the design for Walt Disney’s Cinderella castle. Now lots of people visit Neuschwanstein castle every year and get the chance to feel like a prince, princess, king, or queen for a little while.
