I teach online for a couple of different companies, and it has been a lifesaver for us. We have to stay at home just like everyone else, but at least I know I have my finances secured. I am working on a list of all online teaching opportunities to help out those in need of an online work from home option. I have listed the two companies I work for below, and will be adding to this document as I contact more teachers who can share other companies.
Outschool: Online education geared towards home school students in America
Requirements: Need to be American or Canadian. No formal education required.
Topics: Anything (you create your own courses)
Pay: Set your own prices
Hours: Choose your own hours

VIPkid: Online ESL geared towards Chinese students
Requirements: a degree, neutral American accent, be able to work in America or Canada, be able to pass a quality assurance “mock class”
Pay: 14-20 USD/ hour plus potential for bonus pay
Hours: Typically evenings in China (for me it works out to 4:00 am-9:00 am EST) with possibility to work more hours on weekends.
